SWING SET ACCIDENT

I got a call from the Fairfax Hospital and this young man had been in the ER all night and could not close his mouth due to the fact that his lower teeth had been extruded and almost left his mouth. He had been swinging a 2 by 6 swing and apparently forgot to duck. The most amazing thing about this accident is that there are no soft tissue injuries to his face and lips- Unbelievable! Look how well he healed in two months though. I think I did 5 root canals and a upper and lower fixed splint to hold his teeth in place. Eventually the upper left lateral made its way back down into the arch, that will usually happen. If not you can bring it back down orthodontically.
